This course has been developed specifically for the UK sector and like the IGC, is internationally recognised. The same syllabus is adopted for both the NGC and the IGC - the only difference is the legislation taught.
This course has been developed for multinational organisations in all sectors, mindful of international standards or directives and at the same time adaptive to local needs. It seeks to provide an excellent underpinning knowledge of health and safety, as well as a sound basis for evaluating (and managing) potential hazards and risks. The syllabus incorporates international, technical and other standards where they exist.
For individuals with health & safety responsibilities, e.g. managers, supervisors, safety officers, non-safety specialists etc & who need a grounding & recognised qualification in occupational safety & health. It is also beneficial for those wanting to further their career in the HSE field or those who wish to enhance their HSE knowledge.
Both course books (NGC 1 + GC 2) are designed to support the NEBOSH course (Distance Learning; E Learning and Block full time course) delivered by KBAT. (The purchase of the books does not include enrolment of the examination).
