Our Managing Director has a working experience since 1979, dealing in high risks operations in the military, and the supervision and management of Subsea projects. This is further enhanced by the strong body of professional personnel working at KBA. The larger group forms the basis for technical support and expertise in a wide yet specialist range of activities that include Inshore/Offshore Diving, Remotely Operated Vehicles, Inspection, Marine, Industrial Roped Access and Safety consultancy.

As the Managing Director of KB Associates and KBA Training Centre, Darren has brought into KBA a wide range of diving and safety management and training expertise.
Qualified as an HSE Part2 Saturation diver, IMCA Bell Diving Supervisor, he has previously worked in the Asia Pacific, China, United Kingdom and South American regions. Registered with IRCA UK as an ISO 45001 Lead Auditor and IMCA Accredited Diving System Inspector, Darren is also a Chartered Fellow of the Institution of Safety & Occupational Health (CFIOSH). He has been an active member of the IMCA Diving Division Management Committee (DDMC) for the last 18 years. He holds a MSc in Occupational Health, Safety and Environment Management.
Having worked in the Offshore Oil & Gas Diving industry since 1991 as a diver, diving supervisor, client representative, diving system auditor, company auditor, HSE and diving management trainer and prior to that, in the military as a Military Diving Instructor training divers to HSE Part 1 standard he has an overall career within the diving industry spanning from 1979.
Darren brings to KBA the hands-on experience of both training and offshore operations & management which drives the consultancy and training services of the companies.
As the Managing Director of KBA Training Centre Pte Ltd, he plays a leading role in the design and continually revision of all KBA training courses to stay current with accrediting bodies and industry requirements.
