Alan joined KB Associates in January 2006 as the Training Manager bringing to the company 25 years experience in the offshore diving industry mainly employed as a Life Support Supervisor. He has worked offshore Asia, North Sea, North & Central America for all the major diving contractors.

Having worked on mobile saturation systems and on many DP DSV systems he has been involved with Saturation projects from 18m to 250m working depth using heliox, trimix and Nitrox.

Alan is a OHSAS18001 safety management system trained auditor and also often works as a audit team member for KBA. He has successfully completed the IOSH Managing Safely and NEBOSH International General certificate in Occupational Safety and Health. Alan has excellent training skills and is able to pass over his wealth of experience and knowledge using the structured KBA Training system for our IMCA approved training courses.

Having recently attended the Divelab / DSI-KM Basic Helmet Technician trainers' course he is one of the KBA Training Centre - Helmet technician training team for the DSI-KM approved courses.

Muhammad joined KBA Training team in January 2008; he brings to KBA Training a wealth of expeirience within the medic field and safety training. Trained as a level 3 paramedic in the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) in 1996 he was one of the pioneering paramedics and served 9 years with the SCDF, he has vast experience and knowledge as a paramedic. An avid trainer who enjoys passing on knowledge as much as learning himself, he is also qualified as a Fire Safety Manager; Confined Space Assessor; and has a strong interest in Security Management.

Adrian has a varied experience in the health and safety industry. He has previously been employed as a safety consultant in a wide range of high risk industries including manufacturing, construction, aerospace and power plants since 2003. He has developed and maintained the full suite of international standards OSHAS18001, ISO14001 and ISO9001. He is testament to the transferability of the skills of a health and safety consultant.

It is this hands-on experience along with being a Graduate Teacher (qualified teacher in Europe) that has benefited Adrian as a trainer. He is in an ideal position to encourage professionals to develop their experience into academic awards. These are the skills that have enabled him to lead and deliver high quality NEBOSH courses in the UK . Adrian has conducted NEBOSH National Certificate; NEBOSH Construction Certificate; CITB Site Managers Safety Training; IOSH Managing / Working Safely; Mobile Tower Awareness and Scaffold Safety Awareness. Adrian is degree educated and a Chartered Member of the Institute of Occupational Health & Safety (IOSH). He uses his academic and practical insight to relate to course material. His experience as a NEBOSH examiner gives him the ability to instil confidence in candidates preparing for examinations.

KBA Training Centre Pte Ltd are pleased to welcome Adrian to our training team – he will be bringing a wealth of national and international practical experience as well as being a professional teacher, he will be assisting KBAT with further development of our safety training courses while introducing new bespoke courses and the NEBOSH International Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety- maintaining KBAT’s position as the leading International Health and Safety training provider in the South East Asia region.

Edward joined the KBAT team in July 2008:- As a registered Workplace Safety and Health officer (WSHO), Environmental Control officer (ECO) and a qualified Fire Safety Manager, Edward brings to KBAT a wealth of experience from working within the Singaporean work place safety arena.

Edward has more than 10 years working experience as safety officer including projects in construction and oil & petrochemical. As a training coordinator and trainer he has been involved in the development of training material and training of site personnel for the construction of world-scale ethylene cracker complex. Training conducted in included a range of specific training courses.

He is an Accredited ACTA trainer after having completed the Advanced Certificate in Training & Assessment (ACTA) from Singapore Workforce Development Agency, and a Registered MOM accredited trainer for Construction Safety Orientation for Workers (CSOC).

Oversea working experience includes working in China, Nanjing as Safety Manager for EPC contractor for the construction of integrated petrochemical site, Hongkong, Brunei and Indonesia

Paul Harvey can, and that is one of the reasons why KBAT is proud that this talented individual is now part of the team.

Paul is a UK-qualified consultant and trainer with ten years experience in providing advice, support and training in occupational safety and health, and the environment. For eight years, he was a member of a very successful teaching team in Deeside College, North Wales, which holds the Beacon award for its work in NEBOSH qualifications.

Paul has amassed the skills that you would expect from such a professional individual. He is a registered training provider with the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health and also specialises in courses that lead to UK qualifications awarded by NEBOSH and IOSH.

In addition, Paul has delivered training to prepare candidates for the Environmental Management Certificate awarded by IEMA (UK) and has considerable experience in teaching and advising on environmental management.

Paul’s international experience is exceptional and he recently trained a NEBOSH candidate who achieved the rare honour of being ‘best-in-world’ in examination success for Unit A of the NEBOSH National Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety.
