Alan joined KB Associates in January 2006 as the Training Manager bringing to the company 25 years experience in the offshore diving industry mainly employed as a Life Support Supervisor. He has worked offshore Asia, North Sea, North & Central America for all the major diving contractors.
Having worked on mobile saturation systems and on many DP DSV systems he has been involved with Saturation projects from 18m to 250m working depth using heliox, trimix and Nitrox.
Alan is a OHSAS18001 safety management system trained auditor and also often works as a audit team member for KBA. He has successfully completed the IOSH Managing Safely and NEBOSH International General certificate in Occupational Safety and Health. Alan has excellent training skills and is able to pass over his wealth of experience and knowledge using the structured KBA Training system for our IMCA approved training courses.
Having recently attended the Divelab / DSI-KM Basic Helmet Technician trainers' course he is one of the KBA Training Centre - Helmet technician training team for the DSI-KM approved courses.

| Wayne Lee - Medic Trainer |

Wayne Lee joined KBAT in February 2009 as a Diver Medic Trainer, having spent his career with the Singapore Armed Forces and deployed in areas such as earth quake relief, Tsunami relief and as a medic trainer at the SDF training school, he brings to KBAT a wealth of training expertise and field experience. A qualified First Aid International Instructor, Wayne is also certified as a Diving & Hyperbaric Medical Trainer hence offering diverse range of medical expertise.

| Richard Marshall -
Senior HSE Consultant/ Head of Safety Training Department

Richard is a Chartered Safety and Health Practitioner with 12 years experience in the practice and management of safety, health and environment in the power generation, gas processing and construction industries.
During the course of his career, Richard has been employed as a HSE Advisor for top tier COMAH gas processing facilities; gas fired combined heat and power stations and many construction projects and acted in the capacity of a CDM Co-coordinator for the construction of a bio-fuels facility in the UK . Also, he has a vast amount of external consultancy experience covering many industry sectors conducting gap analysis, auditing of management systems, and assisting with safe working procedures and behavioral audits both in the UK and the Middle East.
Richard is also an accredited instructor with a number of years in the delivery, development and management of the NEBOSH International and National Diploma, NEBOSH International Certificate, NEBOSH General Certificate, NEBOSH Construction Certificate, CITB construction skills SMSTS and SSSTS, IOSH Managing safely and CIEH training courses. |
| Tony Veitch - Occupational Safety & Health Trainer/Consultant |

Tony, who has joined the KBAT team as a Safety & Health Trainer/Consultant and will play an integral role in our portfolio of safety courses and safety management consultancy service. Tony brings with him a wealth of experience from his previous role as HSE Project Manager on various construction projects and production facilities in South East Asia. During the course of his career, Tony has worked with the UK fire and rescue services for 10 years, a trainer for offshore safety training courses, has had extensive involvement in medical emergency services in Australia , and was deployed as a medic on behalf of the British Consulate at the 2002 Bali Bombing.
Besides being trained and qualified with NEBOSH International Occupational Safety & Health, Oil & Gas Operational Safety certification, and as a Confined Space Safety Assessor, Tony also holds Diplomas in Paramedical Science and TESOL Teaching.

With experience in Environmental Management System, Nurul brings with her a fresh perspective and experience as KBAT’s Course Instructor/Trainer – Safety; Health and HSE Advisor staff member. Nurul is a member of the International Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) and graduated with a Degree in Environmental and Occupational Safety and Health [BEnvOSH] from University of Newcastle, Australia. She also holds a Diploma in Chemical Engineering from Singapore Polytechnic.
Nurul will be assisting KBAT Course Director and training team in developing new course plans and objectives, as well as conducting courses offered under NEBOSH and IOSH. She will also be assisting with the marketing and administrative needs of each Safety, Health and Environmental course.

There are not many people who can honestly claim to have trained the best in the world.
Paul Harvey can, and that is one of the reasons why KBAT is proud that this talented individual is now part of the team.
Paul is a UK-qualified consultant and trainer with ten years experience in providing advice, support and training in occupational safety and health, and the environment. For eight years, he was a member of a very successful teaching team in Deeside College, North Wales, which holds the Beacon award for its work in NEBOSH qualifications.
Paul has amassed the skills that you would expect from such a professional individual. He is a registered training provider with the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health and also specialises in courses that lead to UK qualifications awarded by NEBOSH and IOSH.
In addition, Paul has delivered training to prepare candidates for the Environmental Management Certificate awarded by IEMA (UK) and has considerable experience in teaching and advising on environmental management.
Paul’s international experience is exceptional and he recently trained a NEBOSH candidate who achieved the rare honour of being ‘best-in-world’ in examination success for Unit A of the NEBOSH National Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety.
