As the Managing Director of KB Associates Pte Ltd; Darren has brought into KBA a wide range of diving and safety management expertise.

Qualified as an IMCA Bell Diving Supervisor, he has worked in the Asian, United Kingdom, South American regions. Registered with IRCA UK as an OHSAS Lead Auditor, Darren is also a Chartered Member of the Institution of Safety & Occupational Health (IOSH). He has recently attended the DNV Diving Systems Surveyor training course.

Working in the Offshore Oil & Gas Diving industry since 1990 and prior to that in the military as a Military Diving Instructor training divers to HSE Part 1 standard. With an overall career within the diving industry spanning from 1979, Darren brings to KBA the hands - on experience of both training and offshore operations & management which drives the consultant and training services of the company.

As KBA Training Centre Pte Ltd Managing Director, he has played a leading role in the design of all KBA training courses. He now instructs on the IMCA and NEBOSH / IOSH courses and is continually improving the KBA training program to meet the industry needs. Having recently attended the Divelab / DSI-KM Basic Helmet Technician trainers' course he is one of the KBA Training Centre - Helmet technician training team for the DSI-KM approved courses.

As a Director of KB Associates Pte Ltd, Brendan brings a wealth of experience to the company from Diving; Inspection and auditing. He is a registered OHSAS18001 Lead Auditor with IRCA UK and has been in the audit team for Saturation, Air and ROV diving systems for major oil companies within the Asian and Middle Eastern Regions.

Brendan has also acted as a client site representative on inspection and maintenance projects in both the Middle and Far East. Having worked in the Offshore Commercial Diving Industry in the United Kingdom, Africa, Middle East and Asian regions over the past 26 years; Brendan has also qualified as an ASNT Level 3 Inspection Consultant, PCN Level 2 multi-disciplined inspector & IRATA LII Rope Access technician.

In the consultancy aspect, Brendan has been involved as a Ship repair superintendent and as consultant on drill rig acceptance trials, rigging equipment surveys and a host of other Oil and Gas related survey functions.

Brendan has been instrumental in the development of the company's Hyperbaric Environmental Testing equipment and procedure over the last 18 months which brings KBA to the forefront of the offshore diving industry for such services.
