IMCA Air & Bell Supervisor Course Held In USA

An eleven day IMCA approved course was held during April at Lake Charles Louisiana in partnership with LBJ Maritime. KBA Training Centre Training Manager Alan Rhodes conducted the course assisted by Larry Janicek, Director of LBJ Maritime.

The course was combined with the IMCA Assistant Life Support Technician course. Fourteen students from various Gulf of Mexico diving contractors attended, all having previous offshore experience ranging from a few years to several with more than 20 years offshore experience.

“This course was the first of a regular series of courses that we will be conducting in the USA. An IMCA approved certificate not only opens up the door to international job opportunities but is the first step to standardising safety standards across the globe. Feedback from the students was very positive saying they had learned a lot and it would make them more confident in their work”, commented Alan Rhodes

The next combined course for Trainee Air Supervisors, Bell Diving Supervisors & ALST commences 1st June 2009 in Lake Charles. Please contact us for more information.
